Video/Picture troubleshooting

First Things First


Before anything else check to see if both icons appear at the top of this post.
The blue icon was embed using BB coding
The green icon was embed using HTML coding.

If you cannot see the blue or the green icon, then that means that one or both types of these scripts have been turned off. In order to turn it back on you must log in and go to the profile tab at the top menu. In the preferences there should be an option to turn these two features on. Please make sure you save before leaving the profile menu.

Also when making a post with either BBcode or HTML, make sure the post itself has it enabled before clicking send. Directly Below the send button there is an options menu with a "+" or "-" sign on the far right side. You will find this option in there.

Note: It is NOT required to have these two options on to in order to participate in the forums. Those who have a slow connection speed may want to consider turning them off, however any screenshots and/or videos that have been embed in other members posts, as well as your own, will not show up properly.

How to add a picture to your post.

The BBcoding for posting a screenshot is as follows

please try to keep pics under 800 pixels in width.



How to add a Video to your post.

The simplest way is to use the code given to you by your video hosting site. the HTML coding for videos usually look like this:

coding can vary slightly depending on the file type of your video. If your hosting service does not provide the HTML code or you experience problems, ask one of the mods or fellow members for help. We would be more then happy to assist.
please make sure that any and all videos you post DO NOT automatically start.
